Insufficient space for exercise can lead to a passive lifestyle, since several generations can live in one household. Lack or inadequate health insurance can prevent people from managing their chronic diseases.

Healthy People 2030 offers prevention as one of the strategies to reduce health care disparities and promote disease prevention for all. Community RNs can offer assistance with colorectal, breast, cervical and other screenings.
