You are the Corporate Director for Universal Medical Supplies, Inc. You have been asked to present at an upcoming business leadership conference. The presentation will cover Critical Thinking for Challenges in Communication in the Workplace, related to specific topics. The intended audience is business leaders in many different industries.

Instructions

Choose an element of or an issue related to
one of the following specific workplace challenges: Conflict Resolution, Diversity Awareness, or Gender Issues. Create a slideshow presentation that includes concepts of critical thinking related to your chosen topic and include industry examples. Audio narration/voiceover must be incorporated that fully explains your ideas.

Your presentation should include:

· An introductory slide.

· Minimum of 2 slides on critical thinking skills in reading, listening, and writing, related to your chosen topic.

· Minimum of 2 slides on valid and invalid arguments, including cogent reasoning, related to your chosen topic.

· Minimum of 2 slides on inductive and deductive reasoning, related to your chosen topic.

· Minimum of 1 slide on inference in communication, related to your chosen topic.

· A conclusion slide to summarize ideas presented.

· Reference slide with all resources listed.

· Audio/voiceover narration to accompany the slideshow. It should be between 7 and 10 minutes in length and include detailed information about the topics on each slide.

Create a final presentation using a screen recording tool such as Screencast-O-Matic or PowerPoint with audio.

1. Develop a one-page diagram of theoretical foundation for your project/program, describing how and why your project should achieve the desired outcome. Add references on the second page. You may arrange items in the diagram in any way you choose, but the diagrams should include each of the following components and show the logical connections between them:
   1. The need or problem to be addressed by the project/program with supporting data
   2. The context for the project/program (attach a reference list with your diagram)
   3. The strategy (ies) proposed to address the need/problem
   4. The evidence base for the proposed strategies (attached a reference list with your diagram)
   5. Factors that will influence the use of strategy
   6. The expected outcomes of the project/program
   7. The resulting impact of the project/program if the outcomes are achieved.

Expectations

• Due: Monday, 11:59 pm PT
• Length: Two pages (1st page for diagram, 2nd page for references)
• Format: APA Style (7th ed.), one-inch margins with double spacing, proper APA formatting
• Research: Scholarly (peer-reviewed) contemporary  reference(s) within the last 5 years
• Writing: Use correct grammar and sentence construction: Clear expression of ideas
• File Title: Save the file with Student First Name_Last Name_Title of assignment

Write a PICO question that relates to your topic.

Find a quantitative nursing research article. Make sure that it is  actually nursing research. You may not use any of the following:

• A retrospective study
• A mixed methods study
• A qualitative research article
• A systematic review
• A quality improvement article
• An evidence based practice article

You may not use the article that is being used for the RACs in this course session.

If you are repeating the class, you may not use the article or topic that you used for your last attempt at this class.

You may receive help from librarians in finding an article, but you  are ultimately responsible for whether it meets requirements or not.
