Strategy Assessment and Control. NO PLAGARISM!! 10 PAGES

After careful review of your Phase 4 report addressing compliance risks, the board has approved the implementation of the first recommendation that you provided in the report that you submitted in Phase 3. As part of the implementation plan, you have been asked to prepare the report that is outlined below.

The report needs to address the following areas:

  • Describe and assess the impact of the implementation of the recommendation on the organizational structure and performance relative to the forecasted demand for the services or products offered.
  • Explain how the implementation of the recommendation serves as a specific solution to a real health care problem that is facing the organization, and discuss elements of the proposed design that serve to improve balancing costs, quality, and access to care among all stakeholder groups (e.g., patients, providers, and third-party payers).
  • Present a forecasted strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis for at least 3 internal and 3 external stakeholder groups relative to expected outcomes after full implementation of the recommendation.
  • Develop a strategic communication plan, including key messages, benchmarks, and approaches that can be used to communicate the change within the organization, and draft an external press release announcing the organization’s strategic initiative to the health care industry.

The resultant paper should be 10 pages and include at least 9 relevant peer-reviewed academic or professional references published within the past five years.

HR Policy

For this assignment, you will take on the role of a Human Resource Manager for a mid-size corporation with 200 employees and develop a company HR Policy and Manual. Prior to beginning the assignment, review the 10 “Employee Relations Scenarios.” Assess eight relevant employment and labor laws (e.g., OSHA, FMLA, Affirmative Action, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, ERISA, and/or EEOC) as they relate to the issues set forth in the ten employee relations scenarios.  Explain how you would minimize these issues through the policy.

The HR Policy and Manual should be clearly organized and include the following:

  • A table of contents.
  • Headings for each employment and labor law, including
    • a brief description of the law;
    • an analysis of the purpose of the law,
    • and an explanation of how the corporation and employees shall adhere to the applicable laws.
  • An appropriate employee acknowledgement section.
  • A conclusion that explains how you would minimize the said issues through the HR policies.

The Human Resource Policy and Manual

  • Must be 10 to 12 double-spaced pages in length (not including title and references pages) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center (Links to an external site.).
  • Must include a separate title page with the following:
    • Title of paper
    • Student’s name
    • Course name and number
    • Instructor’s name
    • Date submitted
  • Must use at least seven scholarly and professional sources in addition to the course text.
    • The Scholarly, Peer Reviewed, and Other Credible SourcesPreview the document table offers additional guidance on appropriate source types. Homework Assignment

Create a chart to compare and contrast the major legislative influences on the labor relations process. Your chart must contain at least five major legislative acts and how they affect management and unions. Columns should include the law, coverage, major provisions, and federal agencies.

Part Two

Find a recent Supreme Court or U.S. Court of Appeals decision concerning a labor law issue. Summarize the case. Findlaw Legal Information Center is a good commercial site for researching case law. You can also use the CSU library, LexisNexis, or Westlaw, for example.

  • What legal principles does the court rely upon in determining the case decision?
  • Be sure to support your response with specific examples.
  • Use one resource from the CSU online library.
  • This homework assignment should be a minimum of two pages in length.

Challenging Questions

During the course of an interview, you will find that responding appropriately to some questions is challenging.  Often these are open-ended and “behavioral” questions, such as “Tell me about yourself”.  Different interviewees struggle with different questions.  While preparing for an interview, you should identify those questions you feel may be the most difficult for you to respond to.  Then take steps to prepare a response that will work.  Not only will this reduce the pre-interview jitters, but it will also provide you with the best opportunity to sell yourself to the interviewer.
