As ALWAYS, include proper cites and references on each of your answers AND READ and respond to at least one other student before the end of the week. AND post your answers as one post with your name and ‘Answers’ in the subject. I can’t believe that some of us missed this point. Habit? BTW, you should be able to edit your post one posted if you need to.
These are research questions, not opinion questions.
Research and post 7 points on making an effective (memorable, readable, easy to digest, compelling, etc.) presentation/PowerPoint. CAUTION: Answers to the question of giving a presentation/public speaking would be incorrect.
While SME’s certainly know their content, come are not effective instructors (some are of course). And some instructors – especially in T&D, are not necessarily experts in the subject yet sure to know how to teach. How can one help bridge/marry these two types of experts in order to help implement training that will move an organization forward?
Training does not mean ‘go take a seminar’ (and spend some travel and budget money). Although there is nothing wrong with that. .a) How can managers be incented to make sure their employees grow/learn during the year? .b) How can employees’ be incented to make time for their development?
.a) What is a “learning organization”? and .b) How can a company’s T&D function help an organization to become a “learning organization”?
.a) Research and find two clever ways that investments in training are shown to have a return on investment (ROI)? .b) what were the Metrics / KPI’s?
